Veteran QB Kevin Daft 2006 Stats: 123/255, 1386 yds, 6tds, 10ints Still has something left in the tank. Could be a starter in the right system but is always a valuable addition as a backup.
RB Gerald Riggs 2006 Stats: 69 att, 214 yards, 2tds The Demons first round pick from a year ago has worn out his welcome in San Fran. Can be a quality back if given the right amount of carries.
MLB Rod Davis 2006 Stats: 23 tackles, sack, 5 PD With Kirk Morrison as the #1 MLB Davis finds himself as the odd man out after having to share time last season. Quality player could find himself onto a team as a starter.

Riggs seems to be in the same situation as Cedric Cobbs, who rushed for 183 yards and three TDs as a first-round pick of the Maniax in 2004. Since he was traded to Birmingham in 2005, he's rushed for 603 yards and averaged 5.9 a carry and now gets his chance to be the starting back in '07.
