Questions from the new Pittsburgh GM
- How do I know how good my players are?
- Is there a Dynamic Range to the players or are they at a single rating all year long?
- How do Trades work?
- Where are the stats posted from last year?
If I think of anything else... I will ask questions until I fully understand this league.
Thanks.

RE: Ability of players In the coming weeks I will have ratings posted. The rating system should go something like this: 9-10: All-XFL 8: Good player either on verge of greatness or is quality veteran 6-7: Decent player to have around 5: Depends. Younger player will have higher upside, while a veteran with a 5 is on decline and generally makes a good backup 3-4: Backups Note: Only rated players are offensive line and defense. No ratings for skill pos players or kickers--although skill pos do have various "sub-ratings" like blocking (fullbacks, tight ends), running style (all), and pressure/audible (QB) RE: Dynamics They change from season to season. Note because ratings aren't perfect, and when making roster changes owners/GMs (the better ones) tend to use other factors than ratings, I sometimes tweak them with more research. For example the Memphis Maniax will have new starters this year in D.D. Acholonu (OLB) and Ko Simpson (SS), but their ratings don't reflect that. So I will tweak as fit. RE: Trades I have the owner list (see league data) updated. You don't have to go through the commish to do deals but it often is the case. I have a deal between Chicago and Dallas pending. RE: Stats 2006 stats are on the league website (www.geocities.com/thexfllives), both player and team stats.

I play 2 games for Play Station 2 they are:
EA Sports NFL Head Coach, and EA Sports Madden 2005
How much similar is this game to those? I am still at a loss as to how FA Works and how much money I have available to me for FA Aquisitions and Resigning of my players. What is the current salary cap?
I am still not sure as to how good my players are.
Thanks for your time. Joe Hamel NEW Pittsburgh Ironmen GM
