Players either released or expected to be available via trade:
QB Craig Krenzel-The former national champion QB got most of the snaps at the end of the season when the Glory benched Adrian McPherson, that said he wasn't very inspiring
QB Brock Berlin-Was 10 of 17 for 112 yards with one INT in the preseason and 9 of 17 for 89 yards in the regular season
QB Matt Mauck(t)-Pretty much fell out of favor in O-town when he was picked off by Brandon Browner (who returned it 57 yards to set up a crucial LV TD) in the 2005 playoffs, didn't do much in '06 to assure himself a spot in the Rage' 2007 plans, even with Seneca Wallace essentially gone.
RB Jarrett Payton-In need of a change of scenery, rushed for just 311 yards in an embarrassing 1 1/2 season stint in D.C. although he was productive as receiver, catching 27 balls for 261 yards and 2 TDs in '06
WR Reggie Brown(t)-Mutual decision after Vincent Jackson emerged in the playoffs. Could be a nice addition in Kansas City, or Las Vegas if the champs lose Nate Burleson.
WR Mike Williams(t)-Top overall pick in the 2004 XFL Draft may not be in the Monarchs' 2007 plans after Thyron Anderson's emergence.
WR Kevin Youngblood(t)-Led the Glory with 49 receptions but had just one TD.
WR-Mark Bradley(t)-Somewhat of a bust with only 36 catches in two seasons, but like Kelley Washington, could go from bust to bust-out in his third year
WR Curtis Williams-Stuck at the bottom of the depth chart his two seasons in D.C. Had two catches for 39 yards in '06.
C/G Ray Redziniak-Started majority of games for Monarchs in 04-05
DE Nathaniel Adibi-A late round pick of Pittsburgh in 2004 that has seen most of his playing time on special teams.
DE Cedric Pittman-Was cleared to make room for Victor Adenjayu.
DT Jonathan Babineaux-Most surprising name on the list. Had an outstanding rookie year in '05 but was supplanted by Jim Davis in '06.
CB Fred Vinson-Played well when on the field, but with the Monarchs having Nathan Vasher, Richard Marshall, and Bobby Sippio as their top three corners Vinson is kind of invisible. Plus, an already crowded secondary gets even moreso with the return of Darnell Bing--who missed most of his rookie year with a neck injury--in 2007.
CB Gerrick McPhearson-Mainly a special teams player in '06 but was fifth on the Glory depth chart behind Dyshod Carter, Ronyell Whitaker, Antonio Perkins, and Karl Paymah.
FS Antwoine Sanders(t)-Productive starter (3 INTs) but Outlaws would really like Jamaal Brimmer to get into the starting lineup in 2007.
