Detroit 20 Jacksonville 10 Cedric Washington ran for a touchdown and David Neill threw for one. New Mustangs quarterback Matt Kegel was injured in the game and will miss the rest of the preseason
Carolina 26 Memphis 23 Michael Husted kicked a 51-yard field goal with just 24 seconds left.
San Francisco 26 Chicago 13 The Demons took a 10-6 lead in the second quarter on a 76-yard touchdown run by Jamal Robertson and never looked back.
Kansas City 35 Seattle 30 LenDale White, Chris Brown, and Garrett Mills all ran for scores as the Monarchs rolled up 190 yards rushing. Even so the Reign nearly pulled off a huge rally as John Navarre and Matt Gutierrez threw two touchdown passes each.
Washington 20 Dallas 16 Kurt Warner threw two first quarter INTs, fueling speculation that the Lonestars could release the former two-time NFL MVP.
Los Angeles 37 Birmingham 34 Played at the Rose Bowl, both teams looked in preseason form, combining for 11 turnovers. Still, it was an entertaining game to the final seconds, when an ill-advised pass from Darrell Hackney was picked off by Omarr Morgan.
Las Vegas 35 Pittsburgh 12 Jason Gesser and Matt Moore each threw two touchdown passes and Derek Anderson added another as the two-time defending champs rolled.
New York 23 Orlando 12 Bad day for each of the quarterbacks involved. The longest pass play of the day was by Josh Lay, who picked off a Drew Stanton pass and went 75 yards for a score.

Pittsburgh 44 Jacksonville 30 Quincy Carter threw for 415 yards as Tom Moore decided to play his starting QB the whole game. Hank Poteat also picked off a Chris Leak pass and went 90 yards for a score.
Orlando 10 Detroit 7 Josh Huston hit what turned out to be the GW 50-yard field goal after a Dominique Foxworth interception. The Rage intercepted David Neill four times.
San Francisco 9 New York 7 Freddie Keiaho blocked the would-be game-winning field goal by Tyler Jones with eight seconds left.
Birmingham 16 Carolina 10 LaMarr Woodley blocked a punt and recovered it for the Bolts' lone TD as the clock ran out with the Colonels at the 10.
Dallas 40 Las Vegas 20 Kurt Warner, Seneca Wallace, and Jared Zabransky all threw for scores as the Lonestars routed the champs at Sam Boyd Stadium.
Washington 38 Kansas City 24 Dyshod Carter returned a pick 77 yards for a score to give the Glory a lead they never relinquished. It was a costly one though, as Carter limped off the field. Devin Hester returned a punt for a TD for the Monarchs.
Chicago 34 Seattle 14 Justin Miller returned a punt 77 yards for a TD to give the Enforcers a lead they would never relinquish and Matt Mauck threw two TD passes for good measure.
Los Angeles 35 Memphis 28 Kliff Kingsbury and Gino Guidugli combined to throw five TD passes and the Xtreme defense picked off five Maniax passes in the win at the Liberty Bowl.

Jacksonville 19 Memphis 14 The Bulls rolled up over 200 yards rushing and Chris Leak both threw and ran for a score as the Bulls staved of a winless preseason while the Maniax ended up as the only team to go 0-fer.
Orlando 20 Kansas City 17 Abe Brown returned a pick 58 yards for a TD and then the Rage held on as Mike Vanderjagt missed the tying FG in the final minute.
Birmingham 31 Las Vegas 28 The Bolts rolled out to a 31-7 lead behind the passing of Darrell Hackney and then held on as Derek Anderson threw three TD passes in the fourth quarter.
Washington 36 New York 33 (FedEx Field) Jamie Martin and the Glory won this offensive showdown which featured over 900 yards of offense. Renaldo Works had 138 yards on just 13 carries.
Pittsburgh 34 Los Angeles 26 Eric Weddle picked off two passes including a 63-yard return for a TD and Luke Getsy threw three TD passes in his bid to make the club.
Seattle 24 Dallas 21 Matt Gutierrez threw for 408 yards and a pair of TDs and Drew Dunning hit the game-winner in the final minute as the Reign avoided a winless presason.
San Francisco 27 Detroit 17 (Palo Alto, CA) Gerald Riggs both rushed for and caught a TD and David Thomas had 118 yards and a TD on eight catches in the Demons' win in Palo Alto.
Chicago 24 Carolina 23 Joey Harrington threw three TD passes, including the game-winner to Darrin Charles with just 33 seconds left as the Enforcers rallied for a comeback win in the league's preseason finale.
