1. Memphis-Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
Jackson will greatly improve a four-man front which lacked last in the league in sacks
2. Carolina-Michael Johnson, DE (LB), Georgia Tech
True, Johnson and Manny Lawson are pretty much the same beast, but no way the Colonels ignore this type of talent when it's staring right at them
3. Seattle-Max Unger, OL, Oregon
Unger can line up at every position, and is a versatile pass protector, which is good news for John Navarre
4. Chicago-Juaquin Iglesias, WR, Oklahoma
As Byron Leftwich might stop the QB-go-round, the Enforcers still need to get Devin Thomas some help
5. Washington-Ron Brace, DT, Boston College
Even before Israel Raybon's retirement, the Glory were still undersized. Brace addresses this problem, but the Glory aren't done.
6. Detroit-Marcus Freeman, OLB, Ohio State
The Mustangs don't take a DE and instead get a replacement for Michael Boley
7. Orlando-Derek Pegues, S, Mississippi State
A good addition for the secondary with Terrence Holt coming off an uninspiring year
8. Dallas-Duke Robinson, OG, Oklahoma
Big, physical lineman that would be a perfect fit for a power run game with Selvin Young coming off a big year
9. San Francisco-Nate Davis, QB, Ball State
The Demons are all but done with Andrew Walter, and both Matt Nagy and Shaun King are over 30. So the Demons bite the bullet and take the only QB (that will be available) that merits first-round consideration
10. Los Angeles-Fili Moala, DT, USC
Shocker, the Xtreme "stay home" with their first pick, Moala fits their need for an attacking 3-4 DE (Moala will move outside) with the switch to a 3-4
11. Pittsburgh-Derrick Williams, WR, Penn State
DeSean Jackson is entertaining, and Chansi Stuckey is great when healthy, but neither is a no. 1 WR
12. Birmingham-LeSean McCoy, RB, Pittsburgh
Thought of McCoy and Steve Slaton in the same backfield is too tempting for Bolts to go elsewhere.
13. Kansas City-Jamon Meredith, OT, South Carolina
Insurance in case the Monarchs can't get as lucky with Damion Cook this next offseason as they did with Evan Mathis and Jason Brown
14. New York-Phil Loadholt, OT, Oklahoma
The aptly-named Loadholt is a perfect fit for NY's vacancy at RT
15. Las Vegas-Antoine Caldwell, C, Alabama
He needs to get a bit stronger, but it is worth noting that the Hitmen picked Nick Mangold (similar player) in this spot three years ago and haven't looked back.
16. Jacksonville-Paul Kruger, DE, Utah
Chauncey Davis was a disappointment and wasn't re-signed. Stanley McClover (Davis' tentative replacement) is following the same path and the Bulls could really use a better complement to Jamaal Green
