1. San Francisco-Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond (no change)
2. Carolina-Brian Allen, C, Michigan State (no change)
3. Las Vegas-Kyzir White, S, West Virginia (Previous pick: Kenny Young, LB, UCLA)
A hard hitter who fits best in zone coverage, White gives the Outlaws plenty of options, he could also allow the Outlaws to move Desmond King to cornerback while taking strong safety.
4. Orlando-Da'Shawn Hand, DL, Alabama (no change)
5. Washington-Mark Walton, RB, Miami(FL) (Previous pick: Nyheim Hines, RB, North Carolina State)
Hines is probably the better pick (and has less of an injury history), this suggests that the Glory may not be satisfied to stay at 5.
6. Pittsburgh-Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama (Previous pick: Josh Sweat, DE, Florida State)
The Ironmen would be open to an upgrade at corner too, with Rashaan Melvin on his way out the door (and many helping him pack)
7. Los Angeles-Jordan Whitehead, S, Pittsburgh (Previous pick: DaeSean Hamilton,WR, Penn State)
With T.J. Ward in the last year of his deal (and some talk he might not even get there) the Xtreme could go for a lighter swing type and move Tedric Thompson over to the strong side.
8. Dallas-Rick Leonard, OT, Florida State
Early off-season talks of an extension for all-XFL right tackle Daryl Williams haven't come to fruition. Leonard, a former DT, wouldn't be in the mix right away but he has size (6-7, 311) and can learn.
9. Carolina (from New York via Los Angeles)-Will Richardson, OT, North Carolina State (Previous pick: Marquis Haynes, DE-LB, Mississippi (Los Angeles))
If the Xtreme think they can get their guy (Josh Sweat) in the second, they'll begin the repeat of last year's draft-day process that netted them such extra picks as Carlos Watkins, Trent Taylor, and J.J. Dielman (as well as the one they're dealing here). The building of Carolina's offensive line continues with a feisty right tackle in Richardson, but one who needs to dial it down.
10. San Antonio-Josh Sweat, DE, Florida State (Previous pick: Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana)
So much for the above strategy, with the Stampede seemingly moving on from Sam Acho they would seemingly replace him with Sweat, backing up Deatrich Wise--presumably replacing Connor Barwin.
11. Kansas City-Taron Johnson, CB, Weber State (Previous pick: Dorance Armstrong, DE, Kansas)
With E.J. Gaines set for free agency, the Monarchs cover themselves with another productive playmaking corner, which they haven't had too much difficulty finding over the years.
12. Kansas City (from San Antonio)-Dorance Armstrong, DE, Kansas (Previous pick: Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama (San Antonio))
The Monarchs would normally pick Armstrong at 11 and stay put but with the Stampede possibly interested in Johnson now with Averett off the board they have to change it up, giving San Antonio their second and possibly the fifth they landed for Christian Ponder last year.
