1. Kansas City (7-0, LW 1): We get the coachspeak, cliches, and other stuff about next game, but the coach of a team who has a point differential of +124, a TD/INT ratio of 20:1, and hasn't lost a meaningful game since June 2018 seriously said in the postgame, 'We have work to do'
2. Orlando (6-1, LW 2): The Rage could beat Chicago on the other side of the bye and go up three games
3. San Francisco (5-2, LW 3): The bye week could A)come at the wrong time for a team beginning to hit their stride, B)come at the right time as some injuries are beginning to creep (especially in the secondary, where Greedy Williams has missed time with a concussion and they're down Morgan Burnett), or C)too early with more injuries possibly on the way
4. St. Louis (4-3, LW 5): The Stallions are this year's beneficiaries of the crossover rule
5. Chicago (4-3, LW 4): The Enforcers go into Orlando in 11 days in uncharted (for most of the roster) territory, a loss would leave them .500 at midseason and three games back
6. Tampa Bay (3-4, LW 9): Forget AB, just get Drew Lock some pass pro
7. Los Angeles (3-4, LW 8): The Xtreme are set to announce a new extension for Tyler Higbee this week, a good sign for a team with a team loaded with star players either over 30 or hovering around it
8. Washington (3-4, LW 6): Hey the Glory finally broke the chain, unfortunately it was the wrong week to do so
9. Dallas (3-4, LW 7): Of course Drew Lock isn't the only one in need of pass pro, Kyle Allen (tied with a league-high 21 sacks) present. Whatever happened to that man-mountain they used to have at left tackle?
10. New York (2-5, LW 10): Seems it will officially once again be the A.J. McCarron era, just in time for his (and Ron Rivera's) return to D.C.
11. San Antonio (1-6, LW 12): The disaster that has been the 2020 Stampede quarterback situation has stoked talk inside the organization of Kevin Sumlin returning to the college ranks (or perhaps more accurately, returning Kevin Sumlin to the college ranks)
12. Carolina (1-6, LW 11): The Landry Jones experiment has failed, time to ride Luke Falk for the rest of the year then maybe go all Herschel Walker with Justin Fields
