Monarchs 32 Glory 13 (Kansas City, MO)
Case Keenum set an XFL record for accuracy, completing 30 of 32 passes, finishing with 302 yards.
Monarchs were held scoreless till a 36-yard field goal by Nick Folk with 2:23 left in the first half, but that opened the floodgates: Karter Schult sacked Cardale Jones in the endzone, and on the ensuing possession Keenum hit Demarcus Robinson 50 seconds before halftime for the first of two scores.
Folk hit two bombs in the second half, from 61 and 58, making him the first kicker in league history to hit two field goals from 55 or longer in the same game.
Cardale Jones finished 16 of 34 for 192 yards and an interception in his Washington debut.
Matt Nagy won his 50th game as Monarchs head coach in just his 53rd overall

Xtreme 32 Stampede 16 (San Antonio, TX)
Josh Johnson threw four touchdown passes to spoil Jalen Hurts' debut. Antonio Callaway, who was being mentioned in trade talks last week, caught eight for 145 and two scores.
Hurts brought the Stampede back from a 16-0 second quarter deficit to tie the game at halftime on a late Jason Sanders field goal. But that was all as the Stampede were shut out in the second half. Hurts was 22 of 33 for 270 yards and a touchdown.
The Xtreme lost all-XFL DT Jurrell Casey with a torn bicep, early estimates are that he'll miss half the season, which will likely land him on injured reserve. Casey had four tackles and a sack before leaving in the fourth quarter.

Demons 23 Enforcers 15 (Palo Alto, CA)
On a windy day in the Bay Area where both offenses struggled the Demons held on for a week one win when Gardner Minshew couldn't connect with Demetrius Harris on fourth and ten from the San Francisco 28 with 46 seconds left.
A John Kelly rushing touchdown, set up by a Carl Bradford interception that he brought back to the 1, and a Kyle Lauletta touchdown pass to Taylor Gabriel with 22 seconds left until halftime held up for the difference in the game.
The Enforcers, already down a linebacker after Vince Biegel was lost before the season began with a torn achilles, will now be without his replacement as Leon Jacobs went down in the fourth quarter with a knee injury and could also miss the rest of the season. Troy Dye replaced him and had two tackles.

Hitmen 33 Sharks 22 (Tampa, FL)
J.K. Dobbins rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and the Hitmen scored 13 points off of their defense and special teams--including a 37-yard pick-six by Nickell Robey-Coleman at the end of the third quarter to halt any vibes the Sharks got from the Bucs' Super Bowl win last week.
Tampa Bay put up 504 yards of offense, but was also doomed by the above mistakes. Drew Lock threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns, but was just 21 of 48. A.J. Green, who the Hitmen sent to the Sharks less than a week ago, and playing in his first game in two years, caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Taylor Heinicke threw for just 185 yards, but was efficient and picked up the win.
On the injury front, the Sharks saw plenty of it added to insult as Duke Ejiofor will likely see his third season in the league and like his previous two, on IR after suffering another knee injury. Bennie Fowler will miss some time with a torn labrum. The news is better for Elijah Qualls, who also left with a knee injury, but should be ready to go next week in Chicago.

Rage 26 Colonels 23 (Orlando, FL)
Michael Badgley hit the game-winner, his last of four field goals, with 3:15 left in overtime after Kwon Alexander recovered a Jordan Howard fumble, as the Rage came back to score the most improbable win in league history, spoiling Kevin O'Connell's Carolina coaching debut in the rain in Orlando.
Brad Kaaya was intercepted twice in the final three minutes: the first one setting up the go-ahead score on a short pass from Luke Falk to Randall Cobb, and the latter didn't lead to points but forced Orlando to use their timeouts, starting the improbable comeback which came down to a fourth-and-8 hail mary, caught by Lynn Bowden just in bounds, and on the last play of regulation Kaaya hit Damien Harris for the game-tying score.
The Rage led the majority of the first half, only for the Colonels to score 10 points in the last 64 seconds on a one-yard touchdown run by James White and a 42-yard Rodrigo Blankenship field goal.
Orlando lost right tackle Zach Banner with a knee injury in the fourth quarter, he was replaced by Juwann Bushiell-Beatty.

Lonestars 23 Stallions 20 (St. Louis, MO)
Kyle Allen threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Troy Fumagalli with 21 seconds left and the Lonestars came out of St. Louis with a stunning comeback win, making Bob Stoops two for two in season openers.
Allen also threw a hail mary to Tommylee Lewis on the final play of the first half to give the Lonestars a 13-6 halftime lead, finishing 24 of 39 for 262 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
The Stallions played a sloppy season opener, fumbling three times (losing two) and missing two field goals in Greg Zuerlein's St. Louis debut. Zuerlein missed two field goals combined in his last two seasons in Washington.
