Xtreme 36 Sharks 22 (Carson, CA)
Josh Johnson threw three touchdown passes and Phillip Lindsay scored twice as the Xtreme neither suffered a letdown nor allowed the Sharks to get any momentum and start Jaime Elizondo's head coaching career with a two-game win streak
The Xtreme used two first quarter turnovers, a D.J. Reed interception and a Kyle Peko fumble recovery in Los Angeles territory, to build a 10-0 lead. It extended to 19-0 at the half on a Caleb Sturgis field goal and a Lindsay rushing score.
Drew Lock threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter to get the Sharks back to within 19-14, but Johnson answered with two touchdown passes of his own, the latter set up by a Taron Johnson interception, to push the lead back up to 33-14.
Lock, who had gone back-to-back games without turning the ball over, threw his eighth and ninth interceptions on the season while finishing with 327 yards, his fourth 300-yard game. The Sharks rushed for just 59 yards, with D'Andre Swift held to just 29 on ten carries.

Grant Haley and Cody Brown each picked off Jalen Hurts as the Demons threw a wrench into his early ROY campaign, holding him to 13 of 30 for 173 yards while the Demons racked up 184 yards rushing and held the ball nearly 2:1 in the win over the Stampede
Brian Hill led the way with 124 yards rushing on 24 carries, and John Kelly and J.J. Taylor both ran for scores. Hill also caught a touchdown pass from Kyle Lauletta, as Demon running backs accounted for all three San Francisco touchdowns For the Stampede, Justin Jackson ran for 81 yards on seven carries, almost all of it coming on a 78-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and Jason Sanders hit a 62-yard field goal in the fourth. The loss ended San Antonio's two-game winning streak

Hitmen 33 Glory 16 (Washington. D.C.)
Taylor Heinicke threw three touchdown passes and the Hitmen capitalized on another erratic Cardale Jones performance, jumping out to a 27-3 lead in the third quarter and coasting to an easy win
Jones had alternated erraticness with solid performances through the Glory's first four games before a strong outing in a loss to Tampa Bay. However this was anything but as he was picked off by Nickell Robey-Coleman on each of Washington's first two series, the latter ending in Heinicke's first score of the day, a 12-yard pass to Jamison Crowder. After the Glory responded with a Dustin Hopkins field goal, the Hitmen scored the next 20 points, highlighted by Heinicke touchdown passes to Charone Peake and J.K. Dobbins
Heinicke finished 25 of 33 for 214 yards, with Dobbins going for 78 on 19 carries. Kalen Ballage ran for 114 yards and scored twice for the Glory, his fourth game of 92 yards or more

Stallions 23 Enforcers 20 (St. Louis, MO)
Greg Zuerlein kicked the game-winner from 23 yards out with 0:03 left to cap a 17-point fourth-quarter rally at The Dome at America's Center
Brian Hoyer threw for 251 yards, including touchdown passes to Keke Coutee and Jonathan Taylor. He was sacked four times, including two for safeties--the first two-safety game in the league since 2013. Taylor topped 200 yards of offense, with 126 yards on 19 carries and right catches for 80 yards and a score
The Enforcers offense managed just 199 yards, with Gardner Minshew throwing for just 90. Nonetheless they built up a 20-6 lead through three on those two safeties--one coming after a Josh Adams fumble at the 2, an Adams touchdown run, a short John Baron field goal, and a 103-yard Corey Clement kick return touchdown

Monarchs 41 Rage 24 (Orlando, FL)
Case Keenum threw as many touchdown passes as he did incompletions (four) and Willie Jefferson returned a blocked field goal 74 yards for the go-ahead, and decisive, score early in the third quarter as the Monarchs recovered from their first loss since X-Bowl XVIII with a commanding win over the Rage in their first meeting since X-Bowl XX
Nick Folk booted two field goals, the second from 61 for his second beyond 60 this year, tying him with Greg Zuerlein for the most by a kicker in league history with two of more than 60 and is the first with two in the same season. It was also the Monarchs' first points in the first quarter
Damien Harris had a 77-yard touchdown run for Orlando's first points and finished with 113 yards on just six carries. Brad Kaaya finished 29 of 49 for 334 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The Rage have dropped consecutive games for the first time since a three-game skid in April/May 2019

Lonestars 27 Colonels 14 (Raleigh, NC)
Brandon Silvers threw for 257 yards and two scores as the Lonestars, playing with perhaps renewed energy after Bob Stoops benched several starters, snapped a four-game slide with an easy win in Carolina
After a scoreless first quarter, Karan Higdon scored the first points of the game on a 1-yard plunge. Then towards the end of the half, Austin Bryant recovered a Chad Henne fumble on an Anthony Hitchens strip-sack, and two plays later Silvers hit Devonta Freeman for the first of his two scoring passes. Dallas ran the score up to 27-7 after three on a Silvers pass to Tommylee Lewis and a Ka'imi Fairbairn field goal
Henne wasn't under quite as much duress against the Lonestars, but he did turn the ball over once and completed just 14 of 31 passes for 200 yards with a pair of touchdown passes, both in the final minute of each half
