Ka'imi Fairbairn hit from 52 with 1:09 left to deal the win. Silvers finishes April with ten scoring passes after just three in four starts and one game in relief

Jalen Hurts struggled again, going just 17 of 37 for 226 yards with a touchdown and an interception. In San Antonio's current away skid, he has completed less than half his passes in each game and has one touchdown against four interceptions. Chris Herndon caught five passes for 112 yards

Hitmen 29 Glory 5 (East Rutherford, NJ)
Taylor Heinicke threw for 319 yards and Graham Hank kicked five field goals, including a 62-yarder, as the Hitmen routed the Glory to stay atop the XFL East
It was New York's third straight win over Washington, and thus the third straight for ex-Glory head coach Ron Rivera, whose charges rolled to a win despite just 77 yards on the ground because of a near 2-to-1 advantage in time of possession. Former Glory first round pick A.J. McCarron finished the game, completing both passes for 29 yards
The Cardale Jones experiment seems likely over for now after he went just 12 of 29 for 148 yards and was replaced by Easton Stick. But the Glory also had problems on the ground as they only mustered 44, with Kalen Ballage held to just 21 on 12 carries. Marvin Jones left with a knee injury after catching one pass for eight yards

Enforcers 22 Rage 19 (Orlando, FL)
John Baron kicked the game-winning field goal for the second straight as the Enforcers recovered to send the Rage to their fifth straight loss
Orlando rallied from a 19-3 fourth quarter deficit on two touchdown passes from Brad Kaaya, both to Allen Hurns, the latter coming with 1:02 left, and successful two-point conversions. But Corey Clement returned the ensuing kickoff 53 yards, the distance of the game-winner
The Enforcers won despite gaining just nine first downs. Gardner Minshew was good enough (20-32-227 TD) to overcome a struggling run game that gained just 61 yards, this time with Darrel Williams as the lead back. Golden Tate caught four passes for just 28 yards in his return, but Quintez Cephus did the damage, with 106 yards on eight catches
The Rage lost both Damien Harris (ankle) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring) during the game. The Enforcers snapped a five-game regular season losing streak to the Rage, including a 20-16 loss on March 7 in Chicago

Monarchs 42 Xtreme 28 (Carson, CA)
Case Keenum threw four touchdown passes and the Monarchs rolled up a season-high 509 yards of offense as they roared back from an early 14-0 hole to deal the Xtreme their first loss of the season
Cordarrelle Patterson had his first two scores as a Monarch, first on a 32-yard end-around then a 10-yard reception. Demarcus Robinson, coming off a nine-catch 141-yard game in Dallas, had another big game with eight catches for 135 yards and a score, the go-ahead with 3:49 left. David Montgomery's 20-yard scoring run put the finishing touches on it
Josh Johnson was just 19 of 40, but did throw three touchdown passes as the Xtreme kept pace with the highest-scoring team in the league--now averaging nearly 33 points per game, but had some missteps along the way in taking their first defeat. Phillip Lindsay had two receiving touchdowns and finished with 125 total yards, but also fumbled twice (losing one)

Colonels 13 Demons 12 (Palo Alto, CA)
Despite playing without Xavier Cooper and Damon Harrison the Colonels found a way to shock the Demons, picking off Kyle Lauletta twice and making Chad Henne's go-ahead touchdown pass to James White hold up over the final 10:57
In a defensive contest in which neither team would get to 300 yards Carolina got the only touchdown of the first half on a short pass from Henne to Jordan Howard. After a scoreless third quarter San Francisco took the lead on a John Kelly run before the Colonels would answer
Henne finished 21 of 37 for 187 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while Lauletta was 18 of 30 for 188 yards. San Francisco dropped into a tie with Chicago for the final playoff spot although the Demons have the tiebreaker NEXT WEEK: CAR (3-6) vs WAS 4/24; SF (5-4) at SA 4/24
