Jonathan Taylor ran for two scores and the Stallions piled up nearly 200 yards rushing, and took a 28-6 halftime lead en route to a much-needed win
Jalen Hurts once again struggled terribly on the road, going just 14 of 37 for 143 yards and two interceptions, but rallied the Stampede to within one possession in the fourth quarter and into St. Louis territory late, but the drive stalled and a Greg Zuerlein field goal iced it
Jalen Mills' 41-yard pick-six began the rally in the third quarter, the Stallions turned the ball over three times

Hitmen 20 Sharks 13 (East Rutherford, NJ)
Rayshawn Jenkins stopped Demarcus Ayers at the 1 in the final minute as the Hitmen prevailed in a defensive showdown at MetLife Stadium in which neither team gained 300 yards to stay tied atop the XFL East with the Enforcers
Taylor Heinicke threw a pair of interceptions and J.K. Dobbins rushed for just 26 yards. The Hitmen's only offensive touchdown came on their first series, a 25-yard run by Gus Edwards. Akeem Hunt also returned a kickoff for a touchdown for the second straight week since joining the Hitmen
Drew Lock was 22 of 35 for 235 yards with a touchdown and an interception. A.J. Green, in his much-publicized return to New York since being traded to Tampa Bay in February, caught just two passes for 29 yards and was a non-factor on the Sharks' final play. Monarchs 39 Lonestars 23 (Kansas City, MO)
Case Keenum threw a pair of touchdown passes--his 29th and 30th of the season--and Demarcus Robinson went over the 1000-yard mark with 137 yards as the Monarchs won their tenth game and moved into sole possession of first place in the XFL West
A week after being sacked five times after losing all-XFL left tackle David Bakhtiari to a torn ACL, the Monarchs kept Keenum clean this week in Alejandro Villanueva's debut.
Brandon Silvers continued his strong play since April began, throwing for 369 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 751 yards and seven touchdowns in two games against the Monarchs. But the Lonestars rushed for just 34 yards, with Devonta Freeman just 19 on eight carriesright
